A New Addition...

There was the birth of a new addition to Parker's vocabulary today. Up until now it has been tractor, Pap, barn, choo-choo and bike. Today we added "Uck" (duck)!! Pap and Mum went to an Amish auction this weekend in TN and bought some Muscovey ducks. They are quite a site. They are black and white with red bills with these nodules all over them. Parker loves them because #1- they are "Pap's Uck's" and #2 they are friendly and will let you walk right up to them. So, we went to the farm this afternoon in order to see Pap put the ducks out and watch how they would do on his land. As of tonight, they are still there around the lake and love it at Pap's. I mean what's not to love at Pap's!!! We enjoyed the afternoon outside in the beautiful fall weather. Pap and Parker pulled the wagon, pushed the wagon, rode the bike, rode the four wheeler, rode the tractor, and ran till Parker was exhausted. I am so thankful for the farm and the joy that it brings to my boy. I am also glad to be hearing about Pap's ducks and not so much about tractors and bikes!! It is nice to have new conversation!!!!
