What a weekend!!

Wow!! We had such a busy yet fun weekend with the Family!! It started on Friday nite with a delicious dinner by Mom in her new Pampered Chef Steamer Baker Dish- that thing is awesome, a pork tenderloin cooked in 15 minutes! I might could get used to that kind of cooking! And then on Saturday we made a surprise visit to Pap and Mum's farm. A little bird told us that Pap was sick and not feeling well, so I decided to bring him the best medicine ever- Parker!! I mean what could make you feel any better and worse than a sweet, full of energy, handsome and wild two year old!! We played outside and in the pool and had a blast- thanks dad for all the concrete!!! And then on Sunday it was off to the Lake!! We had such a great time as a family with JenJen riding with me and Parker with my parents. Gigi took a nap the whole way and jen and I got to catch up and laugh as we read each others minds and complete each others sentences! She is truly my best friend and I miss the time we used to spend together! We talked about everyone and everything!! We cooked out and then headed back in to church. As we were ready to leave after getting our Sunday best on at the farm, Parker says,"I not want to live with you no more, I live with Pap!" So he stayed and spent the nite!! We went to church and heard a fabulous message on Marriage and the Gospel and it rekindled a commitment from Todd and I to live out a more biblical marriage than a cultural marriage. Now if I can just keep my commitment! We went to JenJen's on Monday afternoon and cooked out and played outside in her wonderful yard. It was ALL about Baseball- that is another blog to come later- and Gigi with the spray bottle. That is the best dollar I have ever spent- she loves to spray that thing at you and everywhere else! Jen made the best Ooey-gooey butter cream cake!!! It was the best ever and she had such a warm and welcoming spread of food and Keith cooked out delicious hot dogs!! We ate and ate and ate!! I love that! My dad took a siesta on the couch with the hairless cat up his shirt!! Need I say more?! And Mum played baseball and then some more baseball! We had such a great time and I love being with my family!! They make me so happy!

So... Its official...

SUMMER is HERE! Mothers day out is over, we are sooo busy, vacations are scheduled, we are all tired, we spend most of our time outside, and my power bill is growing to the mid $100's!! It is hot here and we just bought a new kiddie pool to enjoy in the afternoons! Anyone is welcome to come and play with us- the more the splashes the better! We have been out of town for most of May but are back to stay until June!
We have been in St. Louis honoring Todd's Mom who got her Master's and for Mom's day too! We are so proud of her and had a great visit! We are glad to be home because there is alot to do here- cobwebs to clean, laundry to do, and lots of mail to go through!! Mostly bills!!
I will try to post some recent pictures of our trip to share with you, as soon as I can find time!! I am drowning in my to do list!!!
