Happy 5th Anniversary!!!

Wow- Todd and I have been married 5 years as of 4 o'clock this afternoon!! We can't believe that it has been five years of pure bliss?!! We'll five years will surely change your idea of a romantic evening out. First you have to find a "parent-sitter" who can watch the kids, make sure you have dinner for them and get out their pj's and toothbrushes, make sure their beds are ready, and find time to get yourself ready and look attractive- this means a shower and makeup! Then you have to check the balance in the checking book to see if it will be drive through or sit down!! It is alot to get together just to go out! However- Todd pulled it off by making reservations at The Melting Pot in the back booth!! So romantic and very delicious!! We had so much fun choosing our food, preparing our food, and eating so much great food we felt stuffed. It was a wonderful evening being able to focus on each other and have the time to talk and reminisce about our wedding, our honeymoon, our first apartment, our first home, our jobs over the years, new cars and "toys", and our wonderful two kids!! God has been so gracious in blessing us with so many riches over the past 5 years as well as bringing us through some tough times and restoring our love for one another. Thank you Todd for a wonderful evening and I pray that God will bless us with another 500 years together!!
But reality set back in when we left at 8 pm from the restaurant and we were trying to think of something to do. We opted for Walmart to get some needed items and browse around which is something that we do not ever get to do!! So we got juice, food, and some other things and headed home to tuck Parker in bed and get my mom home before it got too late. Even though things have changed and there is no more "hot dates" we would not trade our life at this stage for anything. We enjoyed coming home at 9:30 to see Parker and hear all that he and Mum had done and be able to tuck him in. One day there will be no kids here and no one waiting on us and then maybe we will stay out late, but for now there is a Parker and Gigi and there is nothing like a little time just curled up on the couch watching things that we have TiVo'ed!! So, happy anniversary Todd, I love you!!!
