It is still snowing!!!

Okay we have geared up- On hours worth of getting everyone dressed- long underwear, layered clothing, snowsuits, hats, gloves, socks and boots. Yeah- that's why it took so long. I figured since we have seen no one else outside playing in it, I better really dress them warm so no one would see us and turn me in for taking children out in the snow!! I have them bundled up and we are headed out the door. It is really snowing and coming down. It is so beautiful and looks so peaceful outside- but beware world we are coming outside with all our chaos!!! Let you know how it went when we come in and thaw out!!!

SWEET HOME ALABAMA

I knew that this place would never let me down!! It snowed!!! I have been waiting on the City of St.Louis to provide a snow storm for me but Alabama came through first!! We started getting snow this morning at 9 am. These are the first sighting of the snow when we got up. Parker is scared of the snow. He is crying and telling me to "get off dada's truck and house!!" I have tried to reason with him but he is adamant to not play in the snow. Well see!! We are going to eat breakfast and then gear up to go out and play in it. Hopefully it will snow alot. Keep you posted!!!

Happy 25th Birthday Jenn!!!

Happy Birthday To you Aunt JenJen!!! I cannot believe that you are 25 years old. It seems like yesterday we were playing in the best playhouse ever built (by our daddy) and just imagining that we were old enough to drive and work and have babies. Now we are at that point and it is great to be there with you. I love being "grownups" together and having this time to share in real life experiences. I am so thankful for you and extremely proud of you. As I tell you so often, you are amazing and have accomplished so very much at your age. You are a good girl who loves Jesus Christ first of all, you have gone to college and are using your degree in a fantastic job, you own your own home(and it is very cute), and you are very independent and successful. I am so thankful that you are my sister and my best friend. I feel sorry for those out there who do not have a sister- it is a bond like no other. Happy Happy Birthday Jenn. Cant wait to celebrate 25 more with you!!!

My early valentine...

I have always dreamed of having such a sweet conversation with Parker eversince he started talking where he said something that was so touching and made me stop and think- Parker that made a imprint in my heart. We'll today would be that day. I was continuing the cleaning marathon and Parker found a picture of Todd and I on his Harley not long after we had gotton married. Parker looked up at me with those big brown eyes and said, "Mama- where's Bubba?" I told him that, "Bubba was not born yet", and he repeated me. Then I said, "Where do you think that Bubba was?" And he said- "Bubba in mama's heart" and pointed to me in the picture. I felt that big lump in your throat that you get just before you are going to cry. I did not want to cry because I did not want him to think that he had made me sad. So I just grabbed him up and squeezed him. It touched me more than ever and I agree- Bubba has always been in mama's heart and always will be!!!

It is Jenn's Birthday...

Today 25 years ago the most wonderful thing happened. I became a big sister!!! I was so excited and can remember Mom and Dad bring Jenn home. I am still as excited today about her and am so glad that it is her special day!! I love you Jenn and wish you the happiest B-Day ever!!! We are celebrating her birthday tommorrow because she got tickets to George Straight from Keith for her Birthday and the concert is tonite! Have fun ya'll- but not too much!!!

Where have I been?

Well I have been in the deepest darkest corners of our house cleaning and organizing. From the linen closets, to the kids closets, to the bathroom drawers and cabinets, to the kitchen cabinets- even the ones above the refidge that you don't even use!! I know it has been since the first of the new year since I last made a post, but I am tackling my new years resolution to be organized and clean early on in January!! I want a house that is organized-a spot for each thing and only the needed things and it be sparkling clean so that anyone could just drop by and I would not be stuffing things in the closets and laundry room as I waited to go answer the door!! So now that I am headed to having that type of house, Ya'll drop by- it's clean!!!

So we started the new year off with a bang by dancing... in tutu's!!! And better than that, Parker in a pink tutu!!! We'll they had a blast and even started dancing together. With this kind of fun play who only knows what 2008 will bring... I'll keep you updated!!!
